Sam Hodder Keynote Speaker

California State Director for The Trust for Public Land

Sam Hodder is the California State Director for The Trust for Public Land overseeing complex conservation programs and land transactions from the remote wilderness to the inner city throughout the state. Sam is a 19-year veteran of The Trust for Public Land who began his career in the San Francisco office. Most recently he served as director of the Maine state office for seven years, where he built one of the most effective conservation organizations in the state. Before moving to Maine, he gained wide experience managing programs in Oregon, Washington and New Hampshire. A graduate of Princeton University, Sam resides in the City of Orinda together with his wife and four sons.
